For Health Care Professionals
For health care professionals, we've gathered a list of training programs and conferences/lectures that may be of interest. Please check back periodically, as this information will be updated. Training Programs Clinical Fellowships: Presently two positions of two years' duration exist. The fellowship program is designed to provide the candidate with comprehensive training in clinical interventional neuroradiology. Each candidate spends dedicated time on patient management and evaluation, endovascular surgical techniques, post-surgical care and monitoring, and basic research. As part of the Basic Science Research program, the Center for Endovascular Surgery offers fellowships in the areas of neointimal hyperplasia and blood vessel reaction to endovascular devices. The program provides one-year participation in ongoing research under the direction Thottala Jayaraman, PhD. Observerships: The Center for Endovascular Surgery continues to attract visitors from around the world for varying periods of time as "clinical observers." Clinical observers are by invitation only, after careful evaluation of applicants' professional credentials. Prior submission of a letter of purpose and CV is necessary. Based on applicants' credentials and purpose of visit, and the availability of space, formal invitations are made to prospective candidates. If interested in either a Clinical Fellowship or Observership position, please e-mail your application request along with a copy of your credentials.
