At the Hyman-Newman Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (INN) and at the Center for Endovascular Surgery, we are committed to treating cerebrovascular disorders of the brain, spine and spinal cord, and vascular disorders of the head, neck, spine and spinal cord through minimally invasive procedures and a multidisciplinary approach.

During our weekly multidisciplinary conference, our patients' cases are reviewed and discussed by a group of expert physicians that are world-recognized specialists from various disciplines in the field of vascular disorders of the head, neck, brain and spinal cord. This group addresses many aspects of the disease, from the medical to the emotional.

At our institute, the main goal is to use the least invasive means to treat the patient. Many patients with aneurysms and other cerebrovascular lesions who come to the INN for treatment have the opportunity to be treated with endovascular embolization without having to undergo traditional open surgery. For the patient with lesions not suitable for embolization, our neurosurgical team is composed of talented neurosurgeons with expertise in treating cerebrovascular disorders.
